A Little Bit About Me
I'm pretty sure the first thing a lot of you thought is "Why is some 15 year old trying to give me workout advice?" I'm not just any 15 year old, being on the wrestling team in conjunction with learning jiu jitsu and being on the tennis team requires to stay in tip top shape all year round and I do it in a smart way. I stay away from any dumbbells or any sort of weights that may waste time. I stick to the best workouts, the ones that don't isolate muscles and and 100x more effective in less time. Here's an example: I wanted to burn some quick calories so i hit the treadmill and ran 2 miles at about moderate pace (6 speed) and burned about 170 calories. Now take this, the next day i WALKED 2 miles and full incline at half the speed and burned double the calories and lost twice as much water weight plus got a good leg workout. This is just one of the uncommon workouts that people overlook. Don't underestimate my knowledge of exercising just yet. Dumbbells and barbells are great and all, but all you are doing with them is ISOLATING muscles. I'm sure a lot of you watched the men's gymnastics during the Beijing Olympics. Did you see their amazing strength and their rock hard physique? Lets get this straight, these gymnasts NEVER LIFTED WEIGHTS. To obtain their amazing strength to be able to hold themselves up in intricate positions requires not lifting weights, but full body weight exercises. Thses include the pullup, by far the best bicep exercise, the dip for your triceps, the planche, etc.
- When you perform body weight exercises hindu squats exercises like and hindu pushups, and pullups , you are working all of the major muscle groups as one. This is how muscles are intended. A weightlifter trains his body using isolation movements. This is not natural.
